YOUR ROLE

Squeeze is looking for a talented and passionate Gameplay Animator that will use their creative and technical skills to create character animation of exceptional quality, rivaling the best in the industry. You will contribute to gameplay-driven animation, focusing on strong body mechanics, physicality, and clarity of motion. Experience with Unreal (2 years or more) and Maya (5 years or more) is required.

Start date: February 23th, 2026
Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with possibility of extension
Availability: Candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone or willing to overlap with PT core hours

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain consistency of work;

  • Ensure that the animation respects the style and artistic vision indicated by the Animation Director;

  • Respect the deadlines and production quotas communicated by the Coordinator and the Producer;

  • Make corrections requested by the Animation Director by demonstrating analytical skills;

  • Organize work and prepare presentation elements for daily validations;

  • Participate actively in team meetings and sequence launches that will have to be animated.

YOU HAVE

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Animator (games or real-time experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong experience with Maya

  • 2+ years of familiarity with Unreal Engine, including working with in-game animation workflows

  • Excellent understanding of body mechanics, weight, timing, and physicality

  • Strong knowledge of traditional animation principles and character movement
    Experience working in a
    keyframe animation pipeline (no motion capture)

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
